DJ Fire pump set is composed of one diesel engine-driven main pump, one jockey pump, one pressure vessel (Optional), a controller that allows for manual or automatic system operation, and standard accessories that are mounted on a baseplate. This particular fire pump set may be utilized for fire hose and fire hose reel systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire water monitor systems, fire alarm systems, and fire hydrant systems. Diesel pumps can be comprised of end-suction pumps, multi-stage pumps, and double-suction split case pumps. The materials used for these pumps generally include cast iron or stainless steel.

The DJ fire pump set is predominantly installed in fire extinguishing systems, or other firefighting control facilities. This pump set is used for the conveyance of liquids, such as water or foam solution agents, through a specialized pump.

The diesel pump casing is constructed from cast iron, and the impeller may be cast iron, stainless steel, brass, or bronze. The shaft material is stainless steel, and the mechanical seal is carbon/ceramic.
