EJ Fire pump set is composed of one electric main pump, one jockey pump, one pressure vessel (Optional), a controller that allows for manual or automatic system operation, and standard accessories that are mounted on a baseplate. This particular fire pump set may be utilized for fire hose and fire hose reel systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire water monitor systems, fire alarm systems, and fire hydrant systems. Electric pumps can be comprised of end-suction pumps, multi-stage pumps, and double suction split case pumps. The materials used for these pumps generally include cast iron or stainless steel.
The EJ fire pump set is predominantly installed in fire extinguishing systems, or other firefighting control facilities. This pump set is used for the conveyance of liquids, such as water or foam solution agents, through a specialized pump.
The electric pump included in this set is a closed-coupled centrifugal pump. The pump casing is constructed from cast iron, and the impeller may be cast iron, stainless steel, brass or bronze. The shaft material is stainless steel, and the mechanical seal is carbon/ceramic.
